CITY EXPERIENCE – CURIOCITY GREEN POINT
Day 1: Black Route Walking Tour
The Black Route Walking tours of downtown Cape Town, highlights the history of the city from an indigenous perspective. Sites visited include: Grand Parade, Castle of Good Hope, Slave Lodge, Parliament buildings, St Georges Cathedral, Company Gardens, Apartheid benches, Green Market Square and the Old Slave Church.
Day 2: A Curious Adventure of the Cape Peninsula
Embark on a scenic drive along one of the world’s most breathtaking coastal routes, where dramatic cliffs meet the endless ocean.
CURIOCITY ensures you experience the rugged beauty of Cape Pointand the Cape of Good Hope, with vistas that will leave you speechless. Meet the African penguins at Boulder’s beach and end the day witha magical sundowner at a hidden seaside spot, the perfect close to a day filled with natural wonders
FARM EXPERIENCE – BERTHA RETREAT
Day 3: Community Immersion experience
At Bertha Retreat, we believe in connection – with nature, with self, and with communities. Our Community Immersion experience
offers guests the unique opportunity to engage meaningfully with the surrounding communities through hands-on, heart-led activities that foster dignity, sustainability, and shared humanity.
• Ithemba Clean-Up: Join the community in cleaning and restoring
the informal settlement, promoting dignity and environmental care.
• Upcycling Workshop: Collaborate with locals to turn recycled
materials into functional art products.
• Soup Kitchen Volunteering: Help prepare and serve meals to
residents.
Day 4: Excelsior Pre-Primary School Engagement
Spend a day at Excelsior Pre-Primary School, where guests are invited to play, read, and connect with the children of farm workers from the Boschendal Wine Estate. This engagement offers a glimpse into the vibrant spirit of children from the local communities, as you share stories, laughter, and learning with the little ones who call this school their second home
